a purple sunrise starts this long day <br>we must be on our way to some place new<br>on our way to some place we`d never thought we`d stand<br>it`s easy to sit back in this place and close my eyes to see your face<br>but sometimes blurry, that was last spring<br>and now the leaves we shared fall down<br>it`s been 6 months since we were last along<br>I hope someday you write and say I wish this wasn`t so<br>because I swear we said that we would never let this go<br>and now we`re all alone<br>guess I`ll have to spend these days all alone<br>but I`m not ready to let you go<br>just don`t have the strength to let you go<br>I just don`t want to look band and say<br>that all I needed now was right in front of me
