Hand Over Fist

<br>not long ago i was full of anger and<br>you really pissed me off and i lashed out<br>but now i know violence is not the answer<br>it never was and it never will be<br>now i know what it is all about<br>when the chips are down and there`s<br>still some time for us to reach a common ground<br>cause i`m sick of all the dying<br>i`m sick of all the crying<br>there`s gotta be a better way<br>just look around at our society<br>it`s survival of the fittest on the street<br>can`t you see violence is not the answer,<br>it never was, and it never will be<br>can`t you see what it`s all about<br>when the chips are down<br>there`s still some time for us<br>to reach a common ground<br>we gotta stop the violence<br>cause if we don`t care<br>and you don`t care<br>and they don`t care<br>who`s gonna care?<br>now i know
